Review: VOMIR: ‘Live From The Catacombs’ (noise/harsh noise wall)

Long-established harsh noise act VOMIR is back with a new two-track cassette on Deathbed Tapes entitled, Live From The Catacombs.

This release is very simple, straight to the point as VOMIR does best.  Each track is “Untitled” and clock in at just over ten minutes in length.

Straight up, classic, harsh static noise walls on each of the tracks with maybe a slight change of low-end density on the second cut. There’s no real fluctuation in terms of frequencies or layers in either track. Just straight, sonic abuse.

It’s really as simple as that. VOMIR does this just as well as any other harsh noise artist out there.  So this release is no exception.  Available on limited cassette and digital download formats on Deathbed Tapes.
